Travelers of the city of Boquerón are mistreated
Ferdinando Castro de Lardiller
(Guantánamo, Cuba) – Residents of the city of Boquerón in the municipality of Caimanera where the North American Naval Base is located, are complaining about the frequency with which the small "Tren-Coche-Motor" (Train-Car-Motor) is not available. This train covers the route from Guantanamo to that town and passengers have to get out onto the street to find a car that can get them close to that place. While the locals suffer these kinds of inconveniences, said train is used for the transportation of tourists who come to see the frontier perimeter through observation posts where the Naval Base could be seen, such as the Melones viewing post. The people are the ones that suffer the consequences of the inefficiencies of a totalitarian system, such as the Castro-communist system. From Guantánamo, Ferdinando Castro de Lardiller, National Delegate of the Democratic Party 30th of November “Frank País”. Given to Martha Tamargo on May 26, 2002
